Harvest Thanks

This past Thursday night, Jimmy and I had the most enjoyable evening with some new friends, Kevin & Shelly.  To make a long story short, we had never met, but a mutual friend gave them our names.  We have been trying to get together with them for about 3 years or so and we were finally able to work it out.  They invited us to their home for a delicious dinner.  We had such a great visit and now feel like we have 2 new friends!  Anyway… all of this to say that I wanted to send them a thank you note for the wonderful dinner.  I’ve had the Friendship Preserves stamp set for a couple of months now but have not used it and thought the “Thanks” stamp from the set would be perfect to use for this card.   And, when I saw the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, I thought it would work perfectly with this set.

So, here’s what I came up with.  I hope Kevin & Shelly like it.

Supplies Used:

  • Stamps:  Friendship Preserves
  • Ink:  Early Espresso
  • Paper:  Very Vanilla, Early Espresso Core’dinations, Island Indigo, Orchard Harvest dsp
  • Big Shot:  Window Frames die
  • Embellishments:  Naturals Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, Paper Piercing Tool, Festive Paper Piercing Pack, Stampin’ Pierce Mat, Sanding Block
