Well, I’m finally home from my week of traveling in the beautiful state of Utah. It has been one exciting week! As you know from my earlier posts, the first part of my week was spent in St. George at the Founders Circle Retreat where the top 100 Demonstrators in the company were treated to a fabulous retreat! Then, on Sunday, I traveled to Salt Lake City for the Advisory Board Retreat. For those of you who don’t know what that is, 6 demonstrators from the 35,000 in North America are selected by Stampin’ Up to serve on the Advisory Board for one year. Advisory Board members are selected based on a long list of criteria, including their performance, attitude, and example. Each of them has demonstrated outstanding success in various aspects of their Stampin’ Up! business. We will work closely with company officials to provide invaluable feedback, ideas, and suggestions. The company relies on this information as it makes critical business decisions regarding product offerings, business opportunities and career plan, and customer service. I am so honored and thrilled to have been selected for this year’s board!
To begin our year on the board, we had a retreat where we spent 2 very full (but productive) days in meetings with the Stampin’ Up! corporate team and other department heads. It’s hard to express how exciting and fun our retreat was (in spite of the hard work!).
Here we are being picked up by a limo at the airport. My fellow board members are Mary Fish, Patsy Waggoner, Desiree Spenst, Ronda Wade and Heather Summers.

The most fun night of the retreat was our dinner and pajama party at Shelli’s house. And the really awesome thing about it was that Sterling (Shelli’s husband) planned the entire event! To our complete surprise and delight, we drove up to a horse and carriage with 4 handsome escorts (Sterling and Shelli’s grandsons) waiting to escort us and help us into the carriage. Then we experienced a wonderful carriage ride through their neighborhood with family and friends even coming out of their homes to wave to us! Such Fun!

The whole experience was so wonderful and I now have 5 new precious lifetime friends! I am so looking forward to working with them all year long.

Congratulations SO MUCH, Amy! We will all definitely benefit from the input from this dynamic group of women you are part of – LUCKY YOU! TFS the great pictures!
