Oh My Goodies Notecard Box

Hello!  Today I’d like to share with you one of the projects my club members made this month.  This was based off of a make & take from our annual convention this year.  I changed it up a bit to focus on one of the awesome Big Shot bundles you can get this month either for free or 15% off!  It’s the Decorative Goodies Bundle and it includes the Oh My Goodies stamp set and the Deco Labels Collection Framelits.

Oh Goodie Notecard BoxThe box is made out of a Gift Card Enclosure card.  They come in a pack of 10 for $5.95 (#136662).  I just added an extra score line at 1/4″ on three sides to make it into a little box.

Here’s a closer look at one of the cards from inside.  Three of them along with envelopes fit neatly inside and they’re made from the Note Cards & Envelopes that come in a pack of 20 fro $5.95 – a great deal!  (#131527)

Birthday Box cards

I used the Big News stamp set for these.  The colors are Tangelo Twist, Crushed Curry and Pistachio Pudding with some Basic Gray thrown in on the box.

Don’t miss out on the Big Shot Deals, they end on August 31!  When you buy a Big Shot, you get to select one of the bundles for FREE!  (that’s up to a $45.75 value!) or you can just purchase the bundles, which are valued at 15% off!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and don’t forget that today is the final day to get $150 in the starter kit for only $99!!  See yesterday’s post for more info.

Sieze the Cake

Ok, so I can’t take any credit whatsoever for this card!   My friend, Cheryl Holtman, designed this one for a swap at convention and I knew I had to copy it.  So, thanks Cheryl!

Seize the CakeIt’s pretty stinkin’ cute, don’t you think?  It uses the Something to Say stamp set, along with the coordinating punch pack- Itty Bitty Accents.  It also uses the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits.Project Life Cards & Labels FramelitsProject Life Cards & Lables framelits  #135707   $24.95

Another Amazing Birthday Card

I’m really not tooting my own horn… that’s the name of the stamp set I used:  Amazing Birthday.  :)  I mean, after all, this one is pretty darn simple and not too amazing, ha ha!

Moonlight Amazing BirthdayThis is another one that I thought could be used for a masculine card.  It’s not too frilly or anything.  I didn’t even use ribbon and that’s pretty difficult for me!

Supplies Used:

  • Stamps:  Amazing Birthday, Something to Say
  • Ink:  Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey
  • Paper:  Hello Honey, Whisper White, Lost Lagoon, Moonlight dsp stack
  • Punches:  Word Window
  • Embellishments:  Neutral Candy Dots

Blooming Birthday

Hello again!  I hope your week has been great and you’re ready for a fun weekend.  It’s the last weekend here before school starts on Monday…. really?  I’m not sure I’m ready for it to start, mainly because that means my baby is starting her senior year.  Where does the time go?

Anyway…before I get too nostalgic and teary eyed… I’ll move on to more birthday cards.  Here’s the next one from my Stamp-a-Stack.

Happy Blooming BirthdayIt’s a bit of an optical illusion, but the blue flower is actually the Night of Navy card stock from the background.  I used the negative space when I punched out the flower from the white card stock.  Then, I stamped the smaller flower from Petite Petals, and punched it out using the Petite Petals punch and popped it up on the Navy card stock.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Big News Birthday

Here’s another birthday card to share with you from my Stamp-a-Stack.  I knew that I wanted a couple of the card designs to be somewhat masculine.  I say somewhat because I have a hard time making truly masculine cards.  I just don’t typically buy a lot of masculine looking stamps because I don’t enjoy making them as much.  Sorry guys!  But, I think this one would be appropriate to send to a man.  I mean, it has newsprint on it… right?

Big News BirthdayI used a new stamp set called Big News.  I really love this set!  So many great greetings!

Big News #134018  $31.95 (clear mount)

I also used a border stamp set called Draw the Line along with the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper and a big Silver Basic Metal Button.

Amazing Birthday Card

Happy Monday!  This week I’d like to share with you some birthday cards I designed for a Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack I had a couple of weeks ago.

Amazing Birthday TagThis one was made using the Amazing Birthday stamp set.  It’s a great set with lots of fun stamps in it.  I especially like this happy, happy happy one.  I used markers to color directly on the stamp to get this multicolored look.  And, the stripes of patterns at the bottom of the tag were made using the Beach House Washi Tape.

Two Cards, One Template

Hello!  Today I want to share with you two variations on one template.  This first card was one I planned for a convention swap back in July.

Bloom for You Thank YouI really love the color scheme.  I used our awesome color coach to come up with it.  If you don’t own this little baby yet, I highly recommend getting it.  It’s a wealth of color inspiration!

Color CoachColor Coach #130118  $14.95

Well, after I got home from convention, I began planning cards for a Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack, and since I already loved the above design, I just decided to change it up using different paper, a different color scheme and a different greeting.  Here’s what I came up with.

Bloom for You BirthdayI love it too!  I’m drawn to bright colors, so I find this card especially cheery!

The entire flower (including the pieces inside) is all made using one stamp, Bloom for You.

Bloom for You #134345  $9.95

And, all three parts of the flower match up with different punches:  Fun Flower, 7/8″ Scallop Circle and 1/2″ circle.

I love it when you can get two great cards from one design!

Thanks for stopping by!
